Date and Dark Chocolate Bars

Ingredients

  • 7 dates
  • 2 cups oats
  • 3/4 cup rice krispies
  • 2 heaped tsp melted coconut oil
  • 2 heaped tsp peanut butter
  • 3 tsp date syrup
  • 12 chunks dark chocolate, chopped

Preparation

  1. Add the dates to a bowl and cover with boiling water. Leave to soften for 10 minutes. Once the time is up, drain the dates and then blend until mostly smooth

  2. Add all the remaining ingredients to the mixing bowl (apart from the chocolate) and mix in

  3. Add the chocolate and mix until evenly distributed. Pop in the oven at 170 degrees for 14 minutes
