Flaky Dill and Carrot Pogaça
Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 1 tea glass vegetable oil
- 2 tablespoons vinegar
- 1 tea glass yogurt
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1.5 teaspoons salt
- 1 bunch finely chopped dill
- 1 medium carrot
- 3.5 cups flour
- 2 packets baking powder

Preparation
Reserve one egg yolk for brushing the tops.
Grate the carrot finely and squeeze out excess water.
In a deep bowl, combine the remaining egg, vegetable oil, vinegar, yogurt, sugar, melted butter, and salt; mix with a whisk.
Add the grated carrot and finely chopped dill to the mixture and stir to combine.
Gradually add the flour and then the baking powder, and knead until you have a soft dough that does not stick to your hands.
Take walnut-sized pieces of dough, flatten them by hand, add cheese, seal, and shape into balls or desired forms.
Brush the shaped dough with the reserved egg yolk.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C until golden brown.
