Homemade Buah Pinggang Style Cookies
Ingredients
- 250 grams butter
- 1 cup icing sugar
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1 cup self-raising flour
- 1 cup corn flour
- 1 cup crushed Marie biscuits
- 1 cup crushed cornflakes
- 1/2 cup wheat flour
Preparation
Beat butter with sugar until fluffy, then add egg yolk and vanilla essence and beat again
Add self-raising flour and corn flour, and stir with a spoon or spatula
Add the crushed Marie biscuits and cornflakes to the mixture
Finally, add wheat flour little by little until it forms a dough that can be rolled
After kneading, roll out the dough and cut using molds
Brush a little egg yolk on top of biscuits and sprinkle with crushed cornflakes, then bake according to your oven's temperature
After baking, arrange in a jar and wait until biscuits cool first
