Homemade Buah Pinggang Style Cookies

Ingredients

  • 250 grams butter
  • 1 cup icing sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 cup self-raising flour
  • 1 cup corn flour
  • 1 cup crushed Marie biscuits
  • 1 cup crushed cornflakes
  • 1/2 cup wheat flour

Preparation

  1. Beat butter with sugar until fluffy, then add egg yolk and vanilla essence and beat again

  2. Add self-raising flour and corn flour, and stir with a spoon or spatula

  3. Add the crushed Marie biscuits and cornflakes to the mixture

  4. Finally, add wheat flour little by little until it forms a dough that can be rolled

  5. After kneading, roll out the dough and cut using molds

  6. Brush a little egg yolk on top of biscuits and sprinkle with crushed cornflakes, then bake according to your oven's temperature

  7. After baking, arrange in a jar and wait until biscuits cool first
