Vegan Honey Made from Apple Juice
Ingredients
- 4 cups (1 liter) apple juice
- 2 cups (400g) sugar
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Preparation
Mix the ingredients in a pot.
Bring to a good boil.
Reduce the heat to medium high.
Boil for 35-45 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Refrigerate for 2-3 hours.
Store in an airtight jar for up to 1 month.
Tips
This vegan honey works well as a spread or in other recipes.
You can also make it with dandelions when in season.
