Vegan Honey Made from Apple Juice

Ingredients

  • 4 cups (1 liter) apple juice
  • 2 cups (400g) sugar
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Preparation

  1. Mix the ingredients in a pot.

  2. Bring to a good boil.

  3. Reduce the heat to medium high.

  4. Boil for 35-45 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  5. Refrigerate for 2-3 hours.

  6. Store in an airtight jar for up to 1 month.

  1. This vegan honey works well as a spread or in other recipes.

  2. You can also make it with dandelions when in season.
