Turmeric Protein Oats Breakfast Bowl

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1 cup almond milk
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp lemon zest
  • Lemon juice to taste
  • 3/4 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 1 scoop protein powder

Preparation

  1. In a pot on high heat, combine oats, milk and water.

  2. Once boiling, cover the pot and let cook on low heat until oats are thickened.

  3. Turn off the heat, then stir in lemon zest, lemon juice, turmeric, maple syrup and protein powder if using.

  4. Then top away! Serve warm and enjoy!
