Vanilla Oatmeal with Fresh Berries and Seeds

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tsp flax seed
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 mashed banana
  • 1 cup almond milk

Toppings

  • blueberries
  • raspberries
  • blackberries
  • kiwi
  • banana
  • pumpkin seeds
  • creamy peanut butter

Preparation

  1. Add all ingredients to a saucepan and bring to medium heat to simmer.

  2. Stir continuously as it thickens to prevent sticking to the bottom of the pan.

  3. Adjust seasonings as desired and remove from heat.

  4. Top with desired fruits and serve immediately.
