Healthy Oatmeal Breakfast with Berries
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 tsp chia seeds or ground flax seeds
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- Splash of vanilla extract (optional)
- 1/2 sliced banana
- 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
Toppings
- banana
- blueberries
- blackberries
- raspberries
- hemp hearts
- peanut butter
- cacao nibs
Preparation
Add all ingredients to a saucepan and bring to a simmer.
Allow to cook and thicken while stirring for about 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and pour into a bowl.
Then top with desired fruits and additions as you like.
Note: You don't have to match the bowl exactly; beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
