Soft Karniyarik Stuffed Pastry
Ingredients
- Half cup warm water
- Half cup warm milk
- Half cup vegetable oil
- Half packet fresh yeast
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg white (yolk for topping)
- Flour as needed
Filling
- White cheese
- Tomato
- Pepper
Preparation
Dissolve fresh yeast, warm water, warm milk, and sugar in a bowl
Add vegetable oil, then flour and salt, and mix to form a soft dough
Cover the dough and let it rise
Divide the risen dough into walnut-sized pieces
Roll out each piece into a round shape on the counter
Make cuts on both sides
Place the filling in the center
Fold the edges
Brush with egg yolk and bake at 180 degrees Celsius for about 20-25 minutes
