Soft Turkish Pogaça Buns
Ingredients
- 1 cup warm water
- 1 cup vegetable oil
- 1 cup yogurt
- 1 packet fresh yeast
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon sugar
- Approximately 5 cups flour (add as needed)
Optional fillings
- Cheese filling
- Mashed potatoes filling
- Chocolate filling
- Or plain
Preparation
Mix all the dough ingredients together to form a soft dough.
Let the dough rest for 30 minutes.
Shape the dough into desired forms, adding optional fillings if desired.
Place the shaped dough in a baking tray and let it rise for 15 minutes.
Brush the tops with egg yolk.
Bake at 200 degrees Celsius until golden brown.
