Baked Milk Powder Donuts with Fillings

Ingredients

  • 2 eggs
  • 12 heaping tablespoons milk powder
  • 2 tablespoons demerara sugar or xylitol
  • 1 level tablespoon baking powder

Filling options

  • 100 grams 60% dark chocolate
  • 50 grams heavy cream
  • Dulce de leche
  • Nutella

Preparation

  1. Mix the dough ingredients until a non-stick dough forms

  2. Shape into large balls and set aside

  3. Grease a large baking pan with butter and arrange the balls

  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for about 15 minutes, watching closely as they bake very quickly

  5. Sprinkle with milk powder immediately after removing from the oven

  6. Let the donuts cool completely

Filling

  1. If making chocolate ganache, mix melted chocolate and heavy cream until smooth

  2. Fill the donuts with your chosen filling
