Fruit-Sweetened Baked Oats for Breakfast
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups quick oats
- 1 1/2 cups rolled oats
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1 tsp ground nutmeg
- 1 tsp ground cardamom
- 3 Tbsp ground flax seeds
- 1/2 cup applesauce
- 2 1/2 cups non-dairy milk
- 1/2 cup hot water
- 4 apples or peaches or fruit of choice
Preparation
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Oil or parchment line a 9x13 inch casserole dish.
Add all ingredients to the casserole dish and mix well.
Optionally, let it sit overnight.
Bake for 35 minutes.
Serve with real maple syrup, coconut yogurt, or non-dairy ice cream.
