Moist Orange Cake with Citrus Syrup
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup orange juice
- 2 tablespoons margarine
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
Syrup
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup orange juice
Preparation
Beat the eggs with sugar and margarine
Add the flour and orange juice and beat well
Finally, add the baking powder
Pour into a greased pan and bake in a preheated medium oven for about 35 minutes
Syrup
Bring sugar and orange juice to a boil and simmer until slightly thickened
Pour over the hot cake
