Grandma's Fluffy Golden Orange Cake
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup orange juice
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
Preparation
Sift the flour in a bowl to avoid lumps, add the baking powder and set aside
In a blender, beat the eggs until air bubbles appear, then add the oil and sugar while blending
Pour the egg mixture and orange juice over the flour mixture
Gently mix until well combined, then pour into a greased and floured pan
Bake in a medium oven at 200Β°C for about 40 minutes or until golden
Tips
For immediate serving, squeeze a large orange over the hot cake to make it moist; however, if not served immediately it may become bitter
