Moist Tangerine Cake with Honey Orange Glaze

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 3 tangerines, peeled and seeded (you can use with peel for a slightly bitter taste)
  • 2 cups sugar (use 1 cup for less sweet)
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Glaze

  • honey
  • orange juice

Preparation

  1. Blend all liquids with sugar in the blender

  2. In a bowl or the blender jar, mix the sifted flour and baking powder

  3. Grease and flour a round baking pan and pour the batter into it

  4. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 45 minutes; test with a toothpick for doneness

Glaze

  1. Make a glaze with honey and orange juice and pour it over the cooled cake
