Moist Tangerine Cake with Honey Orange Glaze
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 3 tangerines, peeled and seeded (you can use with peel for a slightly bitter taste)
- 2 cups sugar (use 1 cup for less sweet)
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
Glaze
- honey
- orange juice
Preparation
Blend all liquids with sugar in the blender
In a bowl or the blender jar, mix the sifted flour and baking powder
Grease and flour a round baking pan and pour the batter into it
Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for 45 minutes; test with a toothpick for doneness
Glaze
Make a glaze with honey and orange juice and pour it over the cooled cake
