Plain and Chocolate Vegan Pancakes
Ingredients
- 120g plain flour
- 1 tsp ground chia seeds
- 375ml plant milk
Chocolate option
- 1 tbsp cacao powder
- 1 tbsp milk (if batter is too thick)
Preparation
Vigorously whisk the ingredients together and set aside for 5 minutes to allow the ingredients to absorb the liquid.
Heat a non-stick pan with a little oil, pour in enough batter to thinly cover the pan, and cook for 1 minute, then flip.
Make 2-3 pancakes, then add 1 tablespoon of cacao powder to the remaining batter and whisk in, adding 1 tablespoon of milk if the batter is too thick.
Make another 2-3 chocolate pancakes.
Serving suggestions
Top with your favorite fruit, lemon, sugar, yogurt, or maple syrup.
