Quick Healthy Miso Soup with Benefits
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons miso paste (available at @livewellfood)
- 4 cups warm water
- 1 cup any vegetables (such as mushrooms, zucchini, carrots, broccoli, onions, cabbage, or potatoes)
- 1 teaspoon cumin, cinnamon, and black pepper powders (optional)
Preparation
Add all the veggies and spices to the water and cook until they are done.
Turn off the heat and let the soup cool to a bearable temperature (test by sipping from a spoon).
Add the miso paste and stir until dissolved.
Optionally, add salt, pepper, or lemon juice to taste and enjoy.
