Two-Ingredient Vegan Chocolate Pot

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup vegan chocolate chips
  • 1/4 cup aquafaba
  • 2 tsp maple syrup (optional)

Preparation

  1. Melt chocolate over a double burner on low heat and allow to cool but keep it runny.

  2. Whisk aquafaba and maple syrup, if using, in a large bowl until fluffy, about 5-10 minutes.

  3. Add the chocolate and gently fold it in.

  4. Spoon the mixture into a container and refrigerate until ready to eat.

Notes

  1. Aquafaba is the liquid from canned chickpeas.

  2. This chocolate pot is similar to ganache but uses aquafaba instead of cream, making it vegan and lower in fat.

  3. Add maple syrup if you prefer it sweeter.
