Sautéed Sausages with Vegetables and Pine Nuts
Ingredients
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 1 medium onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 1 medium tomato
- 1 small bell pepper
- 300 grams sausages
- 1/4 cup lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon molasses
- 1 tablespoon pine nuts
Preparation
In a wide skillet, put the oil and place it on medium heat. Add the onion and stir with a wooden spoon until transparent. Add garlic, tomato, and pepper, then stir on high heat for 2 minutes.
Transfer the onion-tomato mixture to a wide serving dish.
Place the sausages in the skillet and stir until golden. Add lemon juice and molasses, stir for a few seconds, then pour over the onion-tomato mixture.
In a medium pot, add 2 tablespoons of oil and the chopped onion, stir occasionally until golden.
Fry the pine nuts in oil until golden, then spread them on top and serve.
