Sautéed Sausages with Vegetables and Pine Nuts

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons oil
  • 1 medium onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 medium tomato
  • 1 small bell pepper
  • 300 grams sausages
  • 1/4 cup lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon molasses
  • 1 tablespoon pine nuts

Preparation

  1. In a wide skillet, put the oil and place it on medium heat. Add the onion and stir with a wooden spoon until transparent. Add garlic, tomato, and pepper, then stir on high heat for 2 minutes.

  2. Transfer the onion-tomato mixture to a wide serving dish.

  3. Place the sausages in the skillet and stir until golden. Add lemon juice and molasses, stir for a few seconds, then pour over the onion-tomato mixture.

  4. In a medium pot, add 2 tablespoons of oil and the chopped onion, stir occasionally until golden.

  5. Fry the pine nuts in oil until golden, then spread them on top and serve.
