Overnight Apple Cinnamon Crock-Pot Steel Cut Oats

Ingredients

  • 1 cup steel cut oats
  • 3.5 cups water
  • 2 cups chopped apple
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Preparation

  1. Mix all ingredients together in the crock pot.

  2. Cover with the lid.

  3. Set to low heat.

Instant pot variation

  1. Set the Instant Pot to vent and slow cooker mode.

  2. Set to cook for 6 hours and then keep warm.

  3. Do not use the pressure cook function.
