Overnight Apple Cinnamon Crock-Pot Steel Cut Oats
Ingredients
- 1 cup steel cut oats
- 3.5 cups water
- 2 cups chopped apple
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Optional toppings

- nut butter
- fresh fruit
- apple slices
Preparation
Mix all ingredients together in the crock pot.
Cover with the lid.
Set to low heat.
Cook for 6 to 8 hours.
Top each serving with seeds, nuts, nut butter, or fresh fruit.
Instant pot variation
Set the Instant Pot to vent and slow cooker mode.
Set to cook for 6 hours and then keep warm.
Do not use the pressure cook function.
