Turmeric Fried Beef My Way

Ingredients

  • Beef
  • Red shallots
  • Garlic
  • Ginger
  • Bird's eye chilies
  • Turmeric powder
  • Oyster sauce
  • Long beans
  • Oil
  • Salt
  • Optional seasoning

Preparation

  1. Mix the beef with turmeric, salt, and one pounded clove of garlic, adjusting to the amount of beef.

  2. Fry the beef.

  3. Pound the ginger and bird's eye chili.

  4. Slice the red shallots.

  5. Reduce the oil from frying the beef and use the same oil for more flavor.

  6. Sauté the red shallots and the pounded ingredients.

  7. Add oyster sauce.

  8. Add salt and seasoning.

  9. Add a little water for a wetter version.

  10. Add the beef and long beans.

  11. Stir until well mixed quickly to avoid overcooking the beans.

  12. Turn off the heat.

  13. The dish is ready.
