Crispy Puffy Yeast-Free Turkish Fried Dough
Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 1/2 cup yogurt
- 1.5 teaspoons salt
- 1 packet baking powder
- 3 cups flour (add until dough is not sticky)
Preparation
In a bowl, mix milk, yogurt, salt, and baking powder together
Gradually add flour and knead until the dough is smooth and not sticky
Let the dough rest for a few minutes
Heat oil in a deep pan over medium heat
Shape the dough into small balls or flatten them
Fry the pieces in hot oil until golden brown and puffed up
Remove from oil and drain on paper towels before serving
