Simple Turkish Fried Dough
Ingredients
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup hot water
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 packet instant yeast
- Approximately 4-5 cups flour
- Oil for frying
Preparation
Mix all the ingredients and knead into a soft dough.
Let the dough rise for about 1 hour.
Divide the dough into two equal parts and roll out with a rolling pin to a not-too-thin thickness.
Cut into rounds using a glass.
Poke a hole in the center with a rolling pin.
Fry in hot oil on both sides.
