- 250g chicken meat
- 3 garlic cloves
- 1 carrot
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 2 tablespoons tapioca starch or cornstarch
- 3/4 teaspoon salt or to taste
- seasoning to taste (optional)
Breading
- breadcrumbs as needed
- 5 tablespoons flour mixed with water for dipping
Preparation
Wash the chicken meat and blend until smooth.
Mix with grated carrot, minced garlic, egg, salt, seasoning, and stir evenly.
Add flour and tapioca starch, mix well.
Prepare a steaming container, grease it with butter, and sprinkle thinly with flour.
Put the mixture into the container.
When the steamer produces a lot of steam, put the container in.
Cover the steamer lid with a cloth to prevent water droplets from falling onto the mixture.
Steam for 45 minutes or until cooked.
Let it cool, then slice into desired shapes.
Dip in the flour-water mixture.
Roll in breadcrumbs until evenly coated.
The nuggets are ready to fry or store in the freezer for later use.
Tips
Grate the carrot using a cheese grater for best results.
These nuggets are practical for school lunches and can be fried quickly when needed.
