Indonesian Fried Chicken Fritters

Ingredients

  • 200 grams boneless chicken meat with skin (ratio about 2:1)
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 6-7 tablespoons tapioca flour
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Plenty of oil

Preparation

  1. Chop the chicken meat and skin

  2. Mix the egg, baking powder, garlic powder, salt, and pepper then add the flour and stir until well combined

  3. Heat plenty of oil over medium heat then shape the mixture into balls and fry in the hot oil

  4. After adding the balls, reduce the heat and fry on low heat for about 30 minutes until crispy and hollow

  5. Remove from oil and serve

Tips

  1. To achieve a hollow texture, use chicken skin and do not be afraid to use plenty of fat
