Simple Homemade Yeast Bread Rolls

Ingredients

  • 1 cup warm milk
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 5g dry yeast
  • 500g all-purpose flour

Glaze

  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 tablespoons water

Preparation

  1. Blend the milk, eggs, sugar, salt, oil, and yeast in a blender

  2. Pour the blended mixture into the bowl with flour and knead the dough

  3. Grease a baking pan with butter and dust with flour

  4. Shape the dough into small balls and let rest in the greased pan for 3 hours until doubled in volume

  5. Bake in a preheated oven until golden brown

  6. Make a thin syrup with 1 tablespoon sugar and 2 tablespoons water; brush over the bread while still hot

Notes

  1. Use 5g dry yeast (half a packet) for 500g flour. For 1kg flour, use 10g (one full packet)
