Brazilian Anthill Cake
Ingredients
- 7 medium eggs
- 2 cups sugar (350 g)
- 1 tablespoon essence (optional)
- 150 ml oil
- 200 ml water or whole milk
- 120 g edible granules (used Dona Jura brand)
- 3 cups wheat flour (390 g)
- 1 heaping tablespoon baking powder
Preparation
Beat the eggs with the sugar, oil, and essence in a mixer until doubled in volume.
Then, with a whisk, gradually mix in the water with the flour.
Next, add the granules.
Finally, add the baking powder.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180Β°C.
Notes
Use a 25x10 cm baking pan.
The cup measurement used is 240 ml.
