Italian Yogurt Chocolate Cake
Ingredients
- 160 grams all-purpose flour
- 125 grams sugar
- 15 grams dark cocoa powder
- 2 eggs
- 150 grams yogurt
- 70 grams vegetable oil
- 10 grams baking powder
- a little vanilla
Preparation
Beat eggs, vanilla, and sugar with an electric mixer until well combined.
Then gradually add oil and continue beating.
Add yogurt and mix.
Mix flour, baking powder, and cocoa powder together and sift three times.
Add the dry ingredients in several stages and mix gently with a spatula or on low mixer speed.
Pour the batter into a 20 cm round pan lined with parchment paper and greased.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for approximately 30 to 35 minutes.
After 30 minutes, check if the cake is done using a toothpick.
Tips
If dark cocoa powder is not available, reduce flour by 10 grams and use 25 grams cocoa powder instead.
You can add 30 grams of chocolate chips to the batter.
