Simple Brazilian Cornmeal Cake
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 3/4 cup oil
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 500 ml milk
- 1 1/2 cups cornmeal
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
Preparation
In a blender, place the oil, eggs, sugar, milk, cornmeal, and flour.
Blend everything for about 2 minutes or until well homogenized.
Finally, add the baking powder and blend for 15 seconds, just to mix.
Pour the batter into a greased and floured pan.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180Β°C for approximately 40 minutes or until golden.
