Easy Brazilian Cornmeal Cake
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup milk
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 capful baking powder
Preparation
Preheat oven to 350Β°F (180Β°C)
Beat all ingredients in the order listed using a whisk or wooden spoon
Pour the batter into a greased and floured pan
Bake for about 40 minutes or until golden brown
Tips
Optional: Fold in slices of mozzarella or spoonfuls of cream cheese into the batter before baking
