Brazilian Cornmeal Cake Made in Mixer
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1 cup sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 cup cornmeal
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 cup warm milk
Preparation
In the mixer, place the eggs and sugar
Beat until a pale cream forms
Next, add the oil and beat for 2 more minutes
Mix the cornmeal with the flour and baking powder, then gradually add this mixture to the mixer while mixing with a wire whisk
Mix gently, using upward motions
Finally, add the warm milk and mix until well combined
Pour the batter into a greased and floured pan
Bake in a preheated oven at 200Β°C for about 30 minutes or until golden
