Brazilian Cornmeal Cake Made in Mixer

Ingredients

  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup oil
  • 1 cup sifted all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 cup warm milk

Preparation

  1. In the mixer, place the eggs and sugar

  2. Beat until a pale cream forms

  3. Next, add the oil and beat for 2 more minutes

  4. Mix the cornmeal with the flour and baking powder, then gradually add this mixture to the mixer while mixing with a wire whisk

  5. Mix gently, using upward motions

  6. Finally, add the warm milk and mix until well combined

  7. Pour the batter into a greased and floured pan

  8. Bake in a preheated oven at 200Β°C for about 30 minutes or until golden
