Miso Maple Glazed Chickpeas
Ingredients
- 1 can canned chickpeas, rinsed and drained
- 1/4 red onion cut into strips
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp miso paste
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1 tsp minced ginger
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tsp corn starch ?
Preparation
Combine all liquids and seasonings to a bowl and whisk together to combine
Add onion to a pan and sauté until softened
Add in chickpeas and cook until warmed through, 2 minutes
Add in sauce to pan and with a spatula coat chickpeas and allow sauce to thicken, about 2-3 minutes
Remove from heat and serve immediately
