Peanut Butter and Apple Spiced Oats

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1 heaping tbsp of peanut butter
  • 1 tsp maple syrup
  • Pinch of salt
  • Pinch ginger
  • Pinch of cinnamon
  • 1/2 apple diced (reserve other half for sautéing to put on top)
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk

Preparation

  1. Combine all ingredients in a sauce pan and bring mixture to a simmer.

  2. Allow to cook and thicken for about 3-5 minutes.

  3. Remove from heat and serve topped with some sautéed apples and extra berries.
