Cosy Bowl of Creamy Porridge

Ingredients

  • 1 tsp coconut oil
  • 1 apple
  • cinnamon
  • nutmeg
  • ginger
  • 1/3 cup rolled oats
  • 1/3 cup oat milk
  • 1/3 cup water
  • salt
  • peanut butter
  • pumpkin seeds
  • maple syrup

Preparation

  1. Heat 1 tsp coconut oil over medium-high heat.

  2. Add diced apple, a few shakes of cinnamon, a pinch of nutmeg, and a pinch of ginger.

  3. Sauté for about 5 minutes until the apple has softened.

  4. In a small saucepan, add 1/3 cup rolled oats, 1/3 cup oat milk, 1/3 cup water, a pinch of salt, and a pinch of cinnamon.

  5. Cook over medium heat while stirring until thick and creamy.

  6. Serve the porridge with the sautéed apples, peanut butter, pumpkin seeds, and maple syrup.
