Simple Moist Butter Cake
Ingredients
- 250 grams butter
- 1 cup fine sugar
- 2 cups self-raising flour
- 4 eggs
- 1 tablespoon ovalette
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
Preparation
Beat butter and sugar until pale.
Add eggs and beat until fluffy.
Add vanilla essence and ovalette, and mix again.
Add flour little by little and mix.
Pour into an 8-inch pan and bake at 180°C for 1 hour or until done.
Tips
It is important to use a mixer to beat the eggs until fluffy.
