Vegan Southern-Style Burger with Spiced Wedges

Ingredients

  • Linda McCartney vegan burger
  • Vegan cheese (Sheese)
  • Peri peri mayo (made with Nando's and Hellmann's)
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Avocado
  • Red onion
  • Brioche bun (Aldi)
  • Black sesame seeds
  • Potatoes for wedges
  • Smoked paprika
  • Smoked Cornish sea salt
  • Extra virgin olive oil

Preparation

  1. Cook the vegan burger patty according to package directions

  2. Toast the brioche bun and sprinkle with black sesame seeds

  3. Prepare peri peri mayo by mixing Nando's peri peri sauce with Hellmann's mayonnaise

  4. Assemble the burger with vegan cheese, peri peri mayo, lettuce, tomato, avocado, and red onion in the toasted bun
