Creamy Nestle Milk Powder Cake
Ingredients
Cake
- 150g (1 cup) sugar
- 150g (6 tablespoons) cold margarine
- 2 medium eggs
- 150g (1 1/2 cups) all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
Nestle milk cream
- 2 cans sweetened condensed milk
- 8 heaping tablespoons Nestle milk powder
Preparation
Beat cold margarine with sugar at maximum speed for 5 minutes until pale and creamy
Add one egg at a time without stopping the mixer
After incorporating the eggs, add the flour gradually while mixing at minimum speed
After adding all the flour, beat for another 2 minutes at maximum speed until the batter is creamy and fluffy
Grease a 20cm diameter removable-bottom pan and pour the batter; bake in a preheated oven at 180Β°C for 25 minutes or until golden, without opening the oven before 20 minutes; test with a toothpick and if it comes out clean, it is done
In a container, mix sweetened condensed milk and Nestle milk powder; heat on the stove until boiling or microwave for 3 minutes
Assembly
Unmold the cake and cut it in half horizontally
Place one half of the cake back in the pan, spread half of the cream on top, then place the other half of the cake on top, spread the remaining cream, and sprinkle with Nestle milk powder
Chill in the freezer for 1 hour or in the refrigerator for 3 hours
