Crispy Fried Chicken Calamari
Ingredients
- 800g julienned chicken breast
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon salt
Sauce
- 1 egg
- 1 bottle plain sparkling water
- 5 tablespoons flour
- 1/2 packet baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
For frying
- Oil for frying
Preparation
Julienne the chicken breast and mix it with the spices.
In a separate bowl, combine the egg, sparkling water, baking powder, baking soda, and salt; mix well.
Pour the sauce over the chicken, stir to coat, cover with plastic wrap, and let marinate for 1 hour.
Heat oil in a pan until hot, then fry the chicken until crispy.
Serve with ketchup, mayonnaise, and hot sauce.
