Quail Egg Tofu Fritters
Ingredients
- 26 quail eggs
- 560g white tofu
- 80g carrot
- 3 chicken eggs
- 3 green onions
- Cooking oil as needed
Spice mix
- 1/2 tsp pepper
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp beef stock powder
Coating
- 2 egg whites
- a pinch of salt
Preparation
Boil the quail eggs, peel them, then steam or boil the tofu and mash it
Finely slice the green onions and grate the carrot
Mix the tofu, carrot, green onions, spice mix, and eggs together until well combined
Prepare flower-shaped molds or cupcake molds and grease them with cooking oil
Fill the molds with the mixture and add one quail egg to each
Steam for about 30 minutes, remove, and let cool
Heat oil, dip the tofu pieces in the coating mixture, fry until golden brown, remove and serve
