Homemade Mango Falooda with Falooda Sev
Ingredients
- Sabja seeds
- Mango
- Milk
- Rose syrup
- Ice cream
- Dry fruits
Falooda sev
- 1/2 cup corn flour
- 1.5 cups water
- Optional: 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- Arrow root powder (alternative to corn flour)
Preparation
Start by making falooda sev in a pan by mixing corn flour and water without heat
Optionally add sugar at this stage
Heat the mixture on low to medium flame, stirring continuously until it reaches a transparent thick ball consistency
Remove from heat and continue stirring for 2 more minutes
Transfer the warm mixture to a sev maker and extrude sev using a medium plate, then place it in iced water for a few minutes
Soak sabja seeds in water for 5 to 10 minutes until they fluff up
Churn mango to create a puree
Add milk to the mango puree and churn again to achieve a pouring consistency
Assemble the falooda by layering rose syrup, soaked sabja seeds, falooda sev, mango shake, ice cream, dry fruits, and additional mango pieces or pulp as desired
