Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal with Maple Syrup and Yogurt

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup quick cook oats
  • 1 cup water
  • three dashes of cinnamon
  • 1 apple

Toppings

  • maple syrup
  • additional apples
  • Walnut Smacking Bites
  • almond yogurt

Preparation

  1. Chop the apple.

  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the rolled oats, quick cook oats, water, cinnamon, and chopped apple.

  3. Microwave the mixture for 2 minutes.

  4. Allow it to cool for 10 minutes.

  5. Add maple syrup, more chopped apples, Walnut Smacking Bites, and almond yogurt to the oatmeal.

  6. Serve in a bowl.
