Cinnamon Cacao Chia Porridge

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup chia seeds
  • 1/2 cup porridge oats
  • 1-1.5 cups non-dairy milk
  • 1 tsp organic cacao powder
  • sprinkle of cinnamon
  • 1/2 mashed banana

Toppings

  • frozen berries
  • 1 tsp cashew butter
  • 1/2 fresh banana

Preparation

  1. Heat 1/2 cup of chia seeds and 1/2 cup of porridge oats with 1-1.5 cups of non-dairy milk.

  2. Add 1 tsp of organic cacao powder and a sprinkle of cinnamon.

  3. Mix in 1/2 mashed banana to sweeten.

  4. Stir until desired thickness.

  5. Top with frozen berries, 1 tsp cashew butter, and 1/2 fresh banana.

  6. Chia seeds add another texture and provide omega-3 fatty acids and protein.
