Cozy Turmeric Pumpkin Oats
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- 1/2 tsp turmeric tonic
- 1 date
- 1 cup almond milk
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 cup pumpkin puree
Toppings
- almond yogurt
- persimmon
- blackberries
- mixed berry chia jam
- almond butter
- cacao nibs
Preparation
Chop the date
In a saucepan, combine the rolled oats, chia seeds, pumpkin pie spice, turmeric tonic, chopped date, almond milk, water, and pumpkin puree
Cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until the oats are soft and the mixture thickens, about 5-10 minutes
Remove from heat and let it cool slightly
Top with almond yogurt, sliced persimmon, blackberries, mixed berry chia jam, almond butter, and cacao nibs
