Stovetop Oatmeal with Nut Butter and Granola
Ingredients
- 3 cups milk
- 2 cups rolled oats
- Pinch of salt
- Optional: 4 tablespoons chia or flax
Toppings
- Whole milk yogurt
- Almond butter
- Granola
- Maple syrup
Preparation
Bring the milk to a low boil.
Pour in the oats and salt and stir.
Reduce to a simmer and cook for about 2-5 minutes.
Turn off the heat and cover, let sit for a few minutes while preparing toppings.
Add toppings and enjoy.
Tips
Adjust the amount of milk based on preferred oatmeal consistency.
Feel free to add nuts or cook chia or flax into the oats.
Use any nut butter or crunchy toppings as desired.
