Colorful Vegetable Pizza
Ingredients
Dough
- 2 3/4 cups flour
- 1 1/2 teaspoons instant yeast
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 1/3 teaspoons salt
- 3 teaspoons sugar
- 1/4 cup olive oil or corn oil
- 1 cup warm milk
Filling
- 1 cup prepared pizza sauce
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 medium sweet green pepper, chopped
- 1 medium sweet red pepper, chopped
- 1 medium sweet yellow pepper, chopped
- 1/2 cup sliced black olives
- 2 medium carrots, cut into small cubes
- 2 teaspoons dried oregano
Preparation
In the mixer bowl, place 2 1/2 cups flour, yeast, baking powder, salt, sugar, oil, and milk. Attach the dough hook and mix on medium speed for 3-4 minutes until a smooth soft dough forms. Alternatively, knead by hand for 5-8 minutes.
Shape the dough into a ball, place it in an oiled bowl, cover, and let it rise in a warm place until doubled in size.
Preheat the oven to 190°C and prepare a 9x13 inch baking sheet.
Roll out the dough to fit the pan, place it in the pan, spread the sauce over it, and spread the cheese over the sauce.
Arrange the vegetables and olives in parallel lines with coordinated colors and sprinkle the oregano over the pizza.
Bake for 15-20 minutes until the dough is cooked and vegetables are golden brown. Serve hot.
