Cabbage Salad with Olives
Ingredients
- 250 grams sliced cabbage
- 1 medium peeled and thinly sliced green apple
- 1 medium grated carrot
- 1 large thinly sliced pickled cucumber
Sauce
- 2 tablespoons sour cream
- 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Garnish
- black olive slices
- chopped walnuts
- pomegranate seeds
Preparation
In a deep bowl, combine the cabbage, apple, carrot, and cucumber and mix well.
For the sauce: In a deep bowl, combine sour cream, mayonnaise, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper and mix with a fork until smooth.
Pour the sauce over the vegetables and mix to combine, then refrigerate for about an hour or until ready to serve.
To serve: Transfer the salad to a serving dish, garnish with black olive slices, chopped walnuts, and pomegranate seeds, then serve.
