Homemade Granola with Oats and Seeds
Ingredients
- 250g rolled oats
- 100g pumpkin seeds
- 100g sunflower seeds
- 1 tbsp ground cinnamon
- 150ml maple syrup
- Zest of 1 orange
- 75g coconut flakes
- 75g dried cranberries
- 75g sultanas
Preparation
Preheat oven to 180C/fan 160C and line a couple of baking trays with non-stick baking paper.
Place everything, except the coconut flakes and dried fruit, into a large bowl and mix really well to combine.
Spread the mixture evenly between the two trays and bake for 15 mins.
Remove the trays from the oven and give the granola a stir. Sprinkle the coconut flakes and dried fruit equally over the granola. Bake for another 10 mins or until crunchy.
Remove from oven and allow to cool. Serve with milk or yogurt and a sprinkle of grated orange zest. Store in a sealed container for up to 10 days.
