Chocolate Cake with White Sauce
Ingredients
- 1.5 cups cake flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 0.5 cup vegetable oil
- 2 eggs
- 2/3 cup warm milk
- 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 0.5 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
White sauce
- 2 cups milk
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 cups cold milk
- a small glass cornstarch
- 0.5 teaspoon vanilla
Preparation
First, mix 3 tablespoons flour with cocoa powder and baking powder and sift three times.
Beat eggs, sugar, and vanilla with a mixer until white and stretchy for about 5 minutes.
Add milk and stir very little.
Then add oil and mix a little.
Add the sifted flour mixture in three stages and mix with a spatula until smooth.
Grease the pan, pour in the batter, and bake in a preheated oven at 170 degrees for 40 minutes.
White sauce
Mix 2 cups milk with 1 cup sugar and heat until sugar dissolves.
Mix 2 cups cold milk with a small amount of cornstarch until smooth, then add to the milk-sugar mixture.
When thickened, add 0.5 teaspoon vanilla and remove from heat.
When cool, pour over the cake.
