Chocolate Cake with White Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1.5 cups cake flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 2/3 cup warm milk
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

White sauce

  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 cups cold milk
  • a small glass cornstarch
  • 0.5 teaspoon vanilla

Preparation

  1. First, mix 3 tablespoons flour with cocoa powder and baking powder and sift three times.

  2. Beat eggs, sugar, and vanilla with a mixer until white and stretchy for about 5 minutes.

  3. Add milk and stir very little.

  4. Then add oil and mix a little.

  5. Add the sifted flour mixture in three stages and mix with a spatula until smooth.

  6. Grease the pan, pour in the batter, and bake in a preheated oven at 170 degrees for 40 minutes.

White sauce

  1. Mix 2 cups milk with 1 cup sugar and heat until sugar dissolves.

  2. Mix 2 cups cold milk with a small amount of cornstarch until smooth, then add to the milk-sugar mixture.

  3. When thickened, add 0.5 teaspoon vanilla and remove from heat.

  4. When cool, pour over the cake.
