Condensed Milk Coconut Squares
Ingredients
- 1 can condensed milk
- 1.5 cans sugar (use the same can measure as condensed milk)
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 250g grated coconut
Preparation
Mix the condensed milk with the sugar and cook on low heat until it thickens, stirring constantly to prevent sticking
Once thickened, add the grated coconut and baking powder
Continue stirring for about 30 minutes until the mixture pulls away from the bottom of the pan
Pour the mixture onto a marble surface or a greased mold, let it cool, then cut into small squares and serve
