Apple Crumble Overnight Oats

Ingredients

  • 60g (2/3 cup) rolled oats (gf if required)
  • 10 tbsp boiling water
  • 2 tbsp vanilla yoghurt
  • 1 grated apple + 1 tsp sweetener OR 2 tbsp apple sauce or puree
  • 1 tbsp sliced almonds
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1 biscuit or 1 tbsp granola (for topping)

Preparation

  1. Put oats and water in a bowl, stir and leave to thicken for 5 minutes.

  2. Stir in the yoghurt, apple, almonds and cinnamon.

  3. Pour it into a jar or container, pop a lid on it and leave in the fridge overnight.

  4. In the morning sprinkle over a crumbled oaty biscuit or granola and drizzle over some milk.

Tips

  1. It can be eaten after just an hour in the fridge if you don't want to wait overnight.
