Hot Cross Bun Overnight Oats
Ingredients
- 60g any porridge oats
- 10 tbsp boiling water
- 2 tbsp any yoghurt + 2 tbsp for topping (I used plain soya)
- 1/3 tsp cinnamon
- 1/3 tsp mixed spice
- 2 tbsp sultanas
- 1 tbsp maple syrup or sugar or sweetener
Preparation
In a bowl, pour the oats and hot water, stir, and leave for 5 minutes to thicken.
Once thickened, stir in all of the other ingredients.
Pour into an empty jam jar or any container with a lid, put the lid on, and leave in the fridge overnight or for a few hours.
When you’re ready to eat, remove from the fridge, top with extra yoghurt, make a cross shape using cinnamon and sugar, and tuck in.
